Wedding and All Events Q&A

  • A. 50 guests

  • A.150 guests

  • A. We provide filtered water, raspberry and lemon tea. No, we do NOT provide alcohol. Guests are responsible for providing the alcohol the day before or the day of event hours in advance to allow for set up. Liquor liability insurance MUST be provided to have alcohol at your event.

  • Please read about our insurance requirements for customers and vendors here.

  • Buying event insurance is typically required by event venues. The need for coverage is a necessity if you are an individual or business that plans to hold an event and is susceptible to claims or suits by injured attendees. Legal claims against you can be costly, particularly for a small business.

If you have no liability insurance, you will then have to pay these claims out of pocket. There are high costs to legal bills and defending yourself against an injury or property damage claim. There are policies to cover cancellation (hurricane) or liquor liability as well.

  • Wedding/event insurance IS MANDATORY. NO exceptions. Scroll down to the bottom of the Q & A page for more information on insurance.

Non-vendors have unrestricted access to the "Kai-Kai Guest" network and a brief pop-up questionnaire precedes the connection. For vendors like videographers, live streamers and DJ's who require internet access there is a second isolated audio-video network "AV". When vendors arrive inquire with a team member for the password. The Wi-Fi reach covers all buildings and a majority of the outdoor hospitality areas including all of the West Garden and the north end of Eucalyptus Lane.

  • If you are performing outside at the West Garden venue all DJ's and musicians must use their own equipment unless client has made arrangements with Kai-Kai Farm. The East Garden Hall has a 16 x 16 x 2 foot high stage facing the dance floor. Powered speakers include several JBL stage monitors and the house facing system is a pair of JBL PRX818XLF 1500W subs and pair of Electro-Voice ETX-35P 15 inch 3-way 2000W columns. A DBX DriveRack provides processing and a Crest 24x4 analog console is the house desk. The house has Shure and Lectrosonics wireless gear along with six DBX 160 and 162 compressors/limiters. A second sound system serves the seating area. It features a Crown powered 70-volt Danley speaker array for voice and background music. These systems are included with every event and only by prior approval of Kai-Kai Farm may performers bring their own sound system(s) into this hall.
